Let's see on Reds side...the out form Reina in between posts, problems in defence, Caraggher injured, Skrtel is inconsistent, Aurelio is okay okay..well. Midfield? Without Gerrard? To make it worse, without Alonso!!! Better put on your thinking hat Benitez! Forwards will be excellent again with Torres coming back but almost no service from midfield though.
Devils side? The tall Van de Sar, solid defence wall with young Evans, Ferdinand, Evra & Neville.
Creative & young mix of Anderson, Giggs, Carrick & Valencia who will be providing world class services to the goal poachers Berbatov & Owen.

The match just finished. My prediction was right but not entirely accurate as Reds won by 2 goals, not 1. My reason for the prediction was a rule of thumb in football. Big teams won't lose more than 4 times in a row.
A little insight on the game: 1st half was boring like hell!! Both teams only displaying their defence solidarity. 2nd half was the decider after Ferdinand unable to stop the ever pacy & intelligent Fernando Torres. To add to the drama, both teams played with 10 men.
Anyway, result always speak for itself. Vital result especially for the Reds.
